Mail in the application

• Fill in the required month.
• Make any address change as needed.
• Renewal forms will indicate the facility where you usually park. If this changes, please note this on the renewal.
• Carpool permit holders should also verify the designated facility.
• Make check or money order payable to Montgomery County, Maryland and mail with the completed renewal form in the envelope provided between the tenth and twentieth of the month. Your permit will be sent to you by return mail with a renewal form and a return envelope for the next month.

Residential Parking Permit (RPP)

The Division of Parking Management announces that the Montgomery County Department of Transportation has entered into a contract with a new Residential Parking Permit (RPP) Vendor IPS Group Inc. In preparation of the ending of the previous vendor's contract term, the Division advertised and selected a vendor with existing, comparable experience and a progressive, flexible product to meet the current and future needs of our RPP Program.

The Division of Parking Management has made several updates to the montgomery.thepermitportal.com website to improve permit purchases, reassignment of vehicles on the Yearly-Visitor Permit, and other areas to enhance and restore the features and functions of this program. RPP Customers will be receiving communication on our website and by email as updates are available.
